Supersport and Pirates renew rivalry in Nedbank Cup final
Superport United have a chance to finish the season on a high after failing to win the league.
Supersport United will once against meet Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final next month.

The final, which Pirates reached after edging out Golden Arrows 1-0 on Sunday, will take place at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban on 24 June.
Stuart Baxter, recently appointed Bafana coach, will coach the Pretoria side for the last time against the old foes, Pirates.
The final will be a repeat of last year’s when United defeated Pirates 3-1.
The two teams have since met twice this season with United claiming a win and a draw.
United still hold the bragging rights, having beaten Pirates 6-1 in their last meeting late last year.

Pirates on the other hand have had their worst season since the inception of the PSL.
The Soweto giants have failed to crack the top 8 in the log and suffered another humiliating 6-0 loss to United’s neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns this season.
A Nedbank triumph would be scant consolation.
Both teams still have a league game before the final with United hosting Platinum Stars at the Lucas Moripe stadium in Atteridgeville on Sunday, while Pirates revisit Arrows.
If the Pretoria side win their encounter, they would be guaranteed a fourth place finish in the log and a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.
And this will be the scenario Pirates would also be praying for.
That win would also guarantee Pirates a place in next year’s CAF competition whether they win the Nedbank or not.
Sundowns are likely to finish second behind Bidvest Wits but anything less than a win could see them drop to third meaning depriving them an opportunity to defend their Champions’ League crown next season.

– South Africa lost 2-1 to Japan in South Korea in their Fifa U/20 World Cup opener.
They still have to face Uruguay and Italy and if they win both games, they will safely reach the last 16 of the competition.
