“I was fascinated by letters and their meaning.”

Motivational speaker and poet, Mahlogonolo Ramadimetje Molaba (29) of Mamelodi East will launch her inspirational poetry book in July.

Titled, Mountain be Thou Removed…I speak based on Matthew 21:21 in the bible, the book will be launched at the State Theatre (Arena).

“The mountain referred to any challenge one might be facing to say regardless of how big it is, there is always a solution.

“The ‘I speak’ is a reminder that nobody can overcome your challenges for you, you must do it yourself.”

Molaba said her passion for writing sparked when she was still in kindergarten.

“I was fascinated by letters and their meaning,” she said adding that at the age of 11 she had compiled a book of the idioms, proverbs and other phrases she found interesting.

“Unfortunately I lost the book, thus it never got published.”

Molaba said this book was not just a poetry but it is “inspirational poetry”.

“It is a 5 in 1 book – inspirational book, prayer book, bible study book and devotional book.”
