The u.9A Cornwall Hill College rugby team were placed second in their league for 2017 and thus progressed to the Blue Bull play-offs.
In the semi-finals they played against Laerskool Tuine and beat them 24-19. In the final they came up against a very strong Laerskool Die Poort team. Die Poort won their semi-final against Curro Hazeldean to progress to the final.
During the regular league season CHC lost 33-0 against Curro Hazeldean so we knew that we will be in for a very tough match. Our boys stepped up and had a magnificent win beating Die Poort 12-7 in a thrilling final.
This means they are the 2017 u.9 Blue Bull champions.
