Centurion warrior walk to raise R1 million
The walk is aimed at raising awareness against the brutal murders of husbands who leave wives to care for the children alone.
Members of Warriors 4 Christ in Centurion will embark on a 1 900km Warrior Walk from Musina to Cape Town to raise R1 million.
The walk is aimed at raising the awareness against the brutal murders of husbands who leave distraught wives behind to pick up the pieces.
Working closely with the NGO, is Mariandra Heunis, who, while being pregnant, witnessed the murder of her husband and their three daughters.

The husband, Johann Heunis was killed by the armed thugs who invaded their homestead in October last year.
The walk will start in Musina on 4 September through Louis Trichardt, Polokwane, Centurion, Klerksdorp, Kimberley and end on 25 November in Durbanville, Cape Town.
Marianda said it was not easy for a mother to pick up the pieces and hold it together for the children at the same time.
She said the organisation had supported them through a very difficult time and wanted to reach out to even more mothers.
