Three grade 8 learners, Rashae Moosa, Ammara Latib and Yasira Ayob, represented Sutherland High School at the EMS Olympiad. Round 1 was hosted by Hoërskool Voortrekkerhoogte on 21 August. These three learners competed against seven schools and emerged winners.
They then competed against five schools at the EMS District Championships on 29 August, hosted by Affies, where they brought home the challenge trophy. They will now represent the Gauteng Province at the Provincial Championships on 23 September, at Glenanda Primary School in Johannesburg. Well done team and good luck for the next challenge.
