
Brooklyn police are investigating an attempted murder case after a man was shot in his home in Ashlea Gardens during a robbery on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach said no arrest had been made.
“On Wednesday morning, around 04:15, a 55-year-old man woke up and found two unknown armed men inside his bedroom in Maroelana Road.
He immediately pressed a panic button. The suspects then shot the man in the left leg and head,” she said.

Weilbach said the robbers only fled with a television.

“The victim received medical treatment at the scene and was taken to a local hospital by Life Med.
