NOTICE: Possible water supply interruption in the West

The possible interruption is due to maintenance and upgrading work on the pipeline from the Lotus Gardens reservoir.

Residents of Lotus Gardens, Pretoria West might experience a water supply interruption on 24 October, the Tshwane metro has advised.

The possible interruption is due to maintenance and upgrading work on the pipeline from the Lotus Gardens reservoir.

“The interruption will be avoided at all costs,” the metro said in a statement.

The work is expected to take place from 08:00 to 16:00.

Streets which may experience the interruption include:

– Anthesis

– Bergamot

– Ruth First

– Henna

– Festura

According to the metro, the maintenance work is expected to:

– Decrease unplanned maintenance.

– Limit possible pipe bursts.

– Improve water supply in the area.

– Reduce constant major repairs which result in water supply interruption.

– Reduce areas which will be without water when there is a major pipe burst.

The metro apologized for any inconvenience which might arise as a result of the upkeep.
