An old pipe has burst in Waverly, spraying water a few metres in the air.
DA ward councillor, Roelof Fourie said this happened around 17:50 at the Hardy Muller Circle.

He said the lack of maintenance had caused the pipe to burst.
“The relevant authorities have been alerted of the problem,” he said.
“We are trying to get someone out to fix it as soon as possible.”

Residents in the area could expect a water interruption.
It was not clear when the leak would be repaired at the time of going to press.
