
The City of Tshwane’s public website is currently inaccessible to the public, the City reported.
Lindela Mashigo, City of Tshwane spokesperson said the infrastructure which was hosting the SITA experienced a failure in one components.
He told Rekord he was unable to say how long the website would be inaccessible.

“This has to be confirmed by the service provider as they have completed the assessment of the environment,” he said.
Mashigo said the assessment into the duration of repair work was completed.
“Timelines will be communicated as soon as confirmation is received from the service provider,” he said.
He advised the City’s residents to visit customer walk-in centres.
“No data will be lost as a result of the failure,” Mashigo said.
