
A Queenswood business was robbed of goods and cash by two armed men on Monday afternoon.
Villieria police spokesperson Captain Coba Brits said the incident occurred shortly after 16:00.
“The owner was alone in the shop when a man came in and pointed him with a firearm,” she said.

Brits said another man followed in armed with a knife.
“They stole cigarettes worth R2 000 and airtime worth R1 000,” she said.
Brits said the men also got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and electronic equipment.

“A case of business robbery has been opened and is being investigated,” Brits said.
She confirmed there were no injuries and police were following up on leads.
