Police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said on Thursday the police were yet to identify the woman.
“She was half naked with a bullet wound in the upper body. It looks like she was killed somewhere and transported to the scene where she was dumped,” said Moremi.
He said only vehicle tracks were visible next to the body.
She appeared to have been wearing a white vest.
“We appeal to members of the public who might have information, or are aware of any missing woman to approach the Temba police station,” said Moremi.
“A case of murder is open for further investigation.”
