Two security officers were gunned down on the M35 road near Tswaing Soshanguve, in what appeared to be a cash-in-transit heist on Sunday.

Netcare911 spokesperson, Nic Dollman said the incident took place around 18:30.
“Multiple shots were fired and it appears that three people were injured. Two of them fatally and one sustained relatively minor injuries,” he said.
The police are investigating.
