Three women have been arrested for reporting a false case of business robbery in Laudium on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Bonginkosi Msimango said the trio aged 34, 40 and 61 were employees of the Laudium Post Office.

“They fabricated allegations that they were attacked and robbed of R7 000 by two suspects armed with a firearm.
“After intensive intelligence-driven investigations with the Tshwane trio task team, it was established that the suspects colluded in the fabrication of the false case,” he said.
Msimango said on Tuesday the three suspects were arrested and charged with business robbery and perjury.
“They will all appear in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court soon. Investigations continue.”
The Tshwane West cluster commander Major-General Tommy Mthombeni commended the intelligence and trio task teams for their sterling investigation and speedy breakthrough of the case.
