Today marks day 134 since the kidnapping of the Pretoria businessman, Omar Carrim.
Family spokesperson Yusuf Abrahamjee said the police investigation had not yet yielded any results.
“There’s nothing new yet on the case.”
Carrim was kidnapped on 3 August after between his business in Pretoria and his Laudium home.
His car was found burnt out near Erasmia the following morning.
Yusuf remained prayerful and hopeful that Carrim would return home.

Last month, a Bloemfontein private forensic consultant offered to help track the missing man.
Yusuf said there was still no update from the investigator.
The family had since appealed to the kidnappers to release Carrim.
“We know Uncle Omar is not well and the kidnappers must set him free on humanitarian grounds. I hope the kidnappers will show mercy and release him immediately.”
He said they hadn’t heard anything from the abductors.
