A hijacked truck with goods inside was found by police in Mamelodi.
Police received information that the goods were being offloaded at Nkandla informal settlement in Mamelodi West, on Friday morning, spokesperson Captain Johannes Maheso said.
The truck was hijacked in Olifansfontein near Tembisa a day before.
“It is alleged that the truck was taken to Nellmapius, where goods were offloaded, while others were delivered to the Nkandla informal settlement,” said Maheso.

“The owners of the truck were notified but they could not exactly say what type of goods were being transported, or what their value was, as they are only responsible for transportation and do not have access to the goods inside.”
No one was arrested and investigations are continuing.
Maheso encouraged the public to come forward with any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects by calling 08600 10111.
