The four men arrested in connection with the two missing women from Mooinooi, North West appeared in the Brits magistrates court today.
The case was remanded to 5 January 2018 and the men will remain in custody until then, said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mpeile Talane.
Talane also poured cold water over claims that the burnt bodies of the women were found, stating they are just rumours and that no bodies have been found.

The two women, Anisha and Joey van Niekerk, went missing on 10 December when they drove to Pretoria for a funeral.
The police have thus far only recovered the burnt-out wreck of the vehicle in which the two women were driving at the time of their disappearance.
Talane said they still need help from the public to find the missing women themselves.
