This brings the total number of arrests to seven, said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mpeile Talane.

Anisha (30) and Joey van Niekerk (32) went missing on Sunday, 10 December when they left for a funeral in Pretoria but never arrived.

A burnt-out wreck of the vehicle in which the two women were travelling in at the time of their disappearance was discovered by police next to a road in the Magaliesberg, Randfontein last week.
