Centurion high school scores 100 percent matric pass rate

Of the school’s 187 matrics, 83.4 percent obtained a bachelor pass while 16.6 percent a diploma one.

The Hoërskool Centurion class for 2017 has achieved a 100 percent pass rate.

Karla Roux said Hoërskool Centurion is also proud of its head girl, Anika Lindeque who was the school’s top achiever with nine distinctions; closely followed by Eugene Botha also with nine with Elbie Gouws; Albert du Preez and Arlien van Beest obtaining eight; Roland Bolt, Paul Bester, Stephan Gouws, Candice Leeuwendaal and Arina van der Merwe seven; Yvonne Kok and Matthys Lourens six; Meyer Herbst, Henno Koekemoer, Danessa Pretorius, Zoei van de Venter, Tanika van der Merwe, Salome van Eeden and Rohan van Solms five; Caitlyn Bann, Gelicia Edwards, Joanita Engelbrecht, Carla Fourie, Lize Meyer, Alzanley Noome, Janna Olivier, Ryan Rabe, Nusdake van Schalkwyk and Danielle van Wyk with four.
