NOTICE: Dry taps in Temba, surrounding areas

The metro would make tankers available to the affected areas.

Temba and surrounding areas in the north will be without water from Wednesday, the metro has announced.

It said the water shut-down was due to a maintenance of the Temba water purification plant which will take place from 08:00 on Wednesday until 08:00 the following day.

City spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the following areas will be affected:

  • Dilopye
  • New Eersterus
  • Temba
  • Babelegi industries
  • Marokolong
  • Ramotse
  • Majaneng
  • Mandela Village
  • Sekampaneng
  • Hammanskraal

He assured residents the metro would make tankers available to the affected areas.
