A pipe burst in Brummeria in the east of Pretoria has residents livid.
Apparently the burst occurred around 10:00 on Thursday morning in Kuisis road.
Residents Corrie Pretorius said numerous households reported the problem as soon as it happened.

“Everyone who logged the complaint received reference numbers, but the leak has not been fixed yet.”
With Rekord’s arrival by 15:45, gushes of water still oozed from the burst pipe, flowing into and damaging properties.
Pretorius tried to get hold of the ward councillor, but without any luck.
He said the country is currently in a struggle over water, “and this is how it is going to waste.”
At the time of going print, councillors were yet to respond.
