Power outage in the Moot

The power went out at around 06:00 and areas that were affected included Queenswood, Kilnerpark, Môregloed, Weavind Park, Lindopark, East Lynne and Bergtuin.

Residents are left in the dark once again following a power outage in the Moot.

The power went out at around 06:00 and areas that were affected included Queenswood, Kilnerpark, Môregloed, Weavind Park, Lindopark, East Lynne and Bergtuin.

DA ward councillor Roelof Fourie said the power outage was caused by a power failure at a substation in Koedoespoort.

Fourie said municipal workers have been deployed to the substation.

It was estimated that power would be restored by 09:00 this morning.
