NOTICE: Metro warns of water shutdown

Residents are cautioned to use water sparingly.

A shutdown by Rand Water is being planned for this week to replace an old Garsfontein meter, the metro said on Monday.

It said this was scheduled for Tuesday 27 March from 09:00 until 23:00.

The Garsfontein reservoir would be filled to capacity beforehand to minimise the possibility of interruptions.
