Rain continues to pour in Pretoria

The heavy rains had been attributed to a high pressure system in the eastern parts of the country.

Rainfall will continue pouring across Pretoria, the SA weather service said.

Two weeks ago, Pretoria recorded the highest volume of rainfall, with a whopping 121mm.

Weather forecaster Victoria Nurse said it would continue raining for the rest of the week.

“There’s a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms in the late afternoon on Wednesday.”

She said there would be a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout Thursday and 30 percent on Friday.

Nurse said it was likely to stop on Saturday but would continue on Sunday.
