This was a second CIT robbery in Pretoria this week. On Tuesday a cash van was ambushed in Silverton and an undisclosed amount of money stolen.
“A G4S security cash van was forcefully stopped after it was bumped by a Nissan Skyline which belonged to the robbers. More armed robbers emerged from different vehicles and forced the guards out of the van before disarming them,” he said.
Makhubela said the gang bombed the van and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
“No injuries were reported,” he said.
