Mams police still looking for this man
House robbery suspect may be armed and dangerous.
The Mamelodi East police are still searching for the suspect in a 2016 house robbery.
The man, in the identikit, was believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, according to spokesperson, Captain Officer Michael Mbewe.
The ma and his accomplice knocked on a door of a Mamelodi East home around 21:00 on 20 August pretending to need help.
When the homeowner opened, the men pulled a gun then ordered the family into a room.
“They ransacked the house before leaving in the homeowner’s car,” said Mbewe.

Mbewe warned residents against inviting strangers into the house, especially at night.
“Better safe than sorry,” she said.
She warned residents against trying to apprehend the man but rather to call the police immediately if they spotted the man.
“The man may be armed and dangerous,” said Mbewe.
