Home affairs to deal with long queues

Minister Gigaba has directed his department to prepare a comprehensive report and strategy on managing the long queues across the country.

Minister Malusi Gigaba has ordered a strategy for dealing with the long queues at the home affairs offices across the country.

The department said Gigaba had been inundated with complaints about the length of time citizens spent in line at home affairs outlets.

“A comprehensive report and an effective strategy on how to deal with this matter swiftly are a high priority as the department remains committed to delivering high-quality services to citizens and other clients,” said the department on Tuesday.
