The Mamelodi police haven’t given up the search for two missing locals.
Recently, the police pleaded with the public for help to locate the missing men.
Spokesperson Captain Michael Mbewe said Kubone Maila (35) went missing on 25 February and Jabu Witbooi on 18 April.
Maila’s Mamelodi East extension 18 family reported him missing at the station on 27 February.
His mother, Tiny Mokadi Maila said this was the first time Kubone had left without saying where he was going. She described her son as someone who would not miss a day without speaking to his family, loving, very friendly and God-fearing.

She said the family reported him missing when he failed to return home that night and his cellphone was also off.
The family said Kubone had asked to leave work early on the day he went missing and had not returned to work since.
She said the family had been to various hospitals searching for him.
Witbooi was last seen wearing jeans, a grey cap and a white t-shirt.
Mbewe said the police would not rest until the two cases were solved.
He asked anyone with information on the two to call the police on 012-815-7080 or 08600-10111.
