A burglary was foiled by a private security firm in Moreleta Park on Thursday night.
Bull Security caught the culprit in the act, said operations manager French Jooste.
This was in response to an alert about strange activity at a house.
“Our units responded and upon arrival a suspect jumped over a wall with stolen goods in his possession,” said Jooste.
“He tried to flee but was apprehended by our officers. All stolen goods, including a bicycle, and burglary tools were recovered.”
Jooste said the burglar was handed to the Garsfontein police.
