Man ‘in bed’ with missing teen held
A rape case was reported to the police by a mother of a 14-year-old girl was found in bed with an 18-year-old.
An 18-year-old man allegedly found in bed with a 14-year-old girl has been arrested for rape and will appear in court this week.
Pretoria Central police spokesperson Sergeant Tsietsi Lamola said the man was arrested on Monday.
“It is alleged that the mother of the girl could not find her daughter in the flat they share. On Monday morning she discovered her in bed with the suspect in his flat,” Lamola said.
He said the Tshwane West family violence sexual offences and child protection unit was investigating a case of rape.
