Trauma counselling has been arranged for Menlyn Mall security, staff and customers after an armed robbery at the mall on Monday evening.
Four men allegedly robbed a Vault jewellery store at gunpoint, taking an unknown number of Rolex watches.

The men, who were wearing beanies and hats, overpowered two security officers at the store, according to police spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach.
“One shot was fired inside the mall and they used a hammer to smash the display window,” she said.
She said security officers were shot at multiple times when they attempted to stop the fleeing robbers.

The robbers took off in two vehicles, one of which was a white BMW.
“The suspects again fired shots at the security before speeding off in an unknown direction.”
No arrests have been made and no one was injured in the incident.
