NEWSFLASH: Pretoria CBD mall hit by cash-in-transit heist
The robbers reportedly pretended to be customers at a store.
A group of men made away with an undisclosed amount of money after a cash-in-transit heist in the centre of Pretoria on Monday morning.
The robbers, who pretended to be customers, approached the guards who were on their way to collect money from a store in Bloed Street, according to a source.
“No shots were fired and there was no explosion,” said the source.

The Hawks elite police unit told Rekord they will release a statement later.
“We don’t have more information right now,” said Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Brenda Muridili.
