Safety workshop for Doringkloof domestic workers
The residents are concerned the two cases are linked and that criminals had identified local domestic workers as soft targets.
A safety workshop is to be held for domestic workers in Centurion.
The workshop at the Doringkloof NG Church hall in Leonie Street was aimed at equipping domestic staff to protect themselves.
Scheduled to be held on 20 June, it was organised after a woman, believed to be a domestic worker, was stabbed to death last Tuesday.
The woman’s body was found by a jogger in Bashee Avenue.
Rekord has since been alerted of a similar crime on the corner of Lupin and Botha avenues on 24 May.

Anna Motha (62) was attacked around 04:15 while waiting near the Doringkloof Mall for a taxi to Rooihuiskraal.
Residents in Doringkloof fear that local domestic workers are being seen as soft targets by criminals.
They hope the workers would learn how to protect themselves.
Residents said they were considering distributing pepper sprays to local domestic workers.
Admission to the workshop is free.
