UPDATE: Police seek murdered Doringkloof woman’s ex-boyfriend

Lyttelton police are searching for a person they believe could help their investigation into the murder of Josephine Dsiani Lekgoathi.
The domestic worker was found dead in Doringkloof, Centurion on Tuesday morning 12 June.
A jogger had spotted the body in the driveway of a private residence had rang the doorbell to alert the homeowner between 05:00 and 07:00, said Lyttelton police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller.

Miller said the police were keen to speak to Lesotho national, and Lekgoathi’s ex-boyfriend, Thlakola Motsoetla (37), who was last seen in the vicinity of the murder.
“He has disappeared since the incident. He is known as ‘Long’ and ‘Feb’ on the street,” said Miller.
“It is possible that he can shed some light regarding the incident.”
He said the possibility of the murder being related to a robbery had not been ruled out.
“The investigation is open and we will explore all the avenues of the evidence.”
