Six men accused of robbing a jewellery store at the Menlyn shopping mall appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The group allegedly robbed the store of an undisclosed number of Rolex watches on Monday 11 June.
They were arrested in Mamelodi in possession of a Toyota Hilux and a VW Golf GTI, and a new Golf 1 allegedly bought with cash from the robbery.

Two firearms, as well as a total of R90 000, were also recovered.
“All accused remained in custody,” said the National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindile Louw.
Police said one of the suspects, who had two warrants of arrests for robbery and hijacking, was already in their radar.
The case was postponed to 26 June for a bail application.
The men face charges of business robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and possession of suspected stolen goods.
