The police’s bomb squad and K9 units were dispatched to the school.

Learners and teachers at the Amity International School in Erasmia, Centurion, were recently left traumatised by claims of a bomb threat.

Singh said at the time of the threat, the police were immediately contacted.

“The prescribed protocol procedures were followed, and all staff members, as well as a few learners present were evacuated from the school building to the designated assembly point.”

Singh said the school was very grateful for the quick response by the police and their efficiency.
