Parts of the east without power due to cable faults

It is estimated that power will be restored on Saturday morning at 08:00.

Cable faults in Clydesdale suburb, east of the Pretoria has left some residents without power on Friday.

 

It is estimated that power will be restored on Saturday morning at 08:00, according to Tshwane metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo.

He said technicians are attending to the faults.

The following areas are affected:

  • Kirkness
  • Alphen Park
  • Hazel Wood
  • Menlo park
  • part of Lynn wood
  • Loftus Park

“We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and wish to plead with the affected residents to allow the city’s technical team to conduct their work unhindered,” he said.
