Menlyn Park Shopping Centre has given six tips to equip people to better prepare for the day.

With another Black Friday looming, Menlyn Park Shopping Centre has given six tips to equip people to better prepare for the day.

Come prepared

Research items you want and see how much they cost and learn which stores stock them. For a quick and easy Black Friday, get a copy of a mall map.

Dress comfortably

You will be walking and queuing more than usual, so wear some comfortable shoes and clothing.

Be patient

You are not the only one excited about Black Friday specials. Stores will be full and there will be more queues than usual – please be patient.

Fuel up

By the time you’re done, Black Friday can feel like a marathon!

Bring a water bottle and some snacks such as nuts or fruit to keep your energy levels up.

Make a list, check it twice

If you are buying many items, make a list and order it in terms of what you need most. If you are sticking to a budget, write a maximum price next to items and don’t go over it.

Leave the kids at home

Kids usually have fun at Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. However, Black Friday means a lot of walking and queuing. Kids may get bored and tired, so leave them at home with a caregiver if you can.
