Two suspects were arrested during a house robbery in the Willows area on Monday morning.
“We reacted to an urgent request on a community WhatsApp group of a house break-in in progress,” said Martin Barnard from Brinant Security.
He said the two suspects had fled when reaction officers arrived on the scene.
“The officers searched the area and managed to apprehend both suspects in a nearby field. Both suspects were detained and handed to the Silverton police station, “ said Barnard.
