A quick response from police saw two Atteridgeville house robbers arrested on Tuesday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said the arrest was made after the community had tipped-off the police.
“A woman was robbed in her home when two armed men forcibly opened the door and gained entry. They pointed her with a firearm and took a laptop, electronic appliances and cellphones,” she said.
The Tshwane west cluster trio crimes team followed up on information received which to the arrest of the two suspects (both aged 26) in Maunde Street later that day.
Selepe said the duo were expected to appear in Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
