Tshwane Mayoral committee announced

“I have confidence that this team will ensure that we have robust measures to keep the administration to account and deliver on our mandate.”

The Tshwane mayoral committee is a mixture of old and a few new faces.

Tshwane mayor Stevens Mokgalapa did not mince his words on his service-delivery objectives.

“Over the coming months this will be our primary focus and I expect that every MMC, within their respective portfolios, will ensure that they put service delivery at the apex of their respective agendas and that all departments deliver better services to the people of Tshwane.”

He said assembling the right team of people who can support him in achieving this goal was critical.

Mokgalapa said the MMCs he has chosen have a diversity of skills and abilities, some have served previously as MMCs while others have been chosen to bring fresh leadership to certain portfolios.

“I have every confidence that this team of councillors will ensure that we have robust measures to keep the administration to account and deliver on our mandate.”
