This after residents were left without power after the substation was struck by lightning and caught fire on Friday evening during a violent storm
DA ward councillor Kingsley Wakelin said on Sunday that the substation was restored.

He added, however, that there were still areas without power due to possible trips at the individual substations units and or faults on the line.
“There is power on the grid,” he said.
