The defense, in the culpable homicide case of a Centurion teen, has questioned alcohol content blood test results in the case this week.
Siphiwe Mahlaba, the man accused of the 2017 hit-and-run death of Ruan Viljoen, appeared in court again on Thursday morning.
He has appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on six previous occasions.
During Thursday’s proceedings, Mahlaba’s legal representative said the defence had received further disclosure of the docket contents from the state as was agreed during the previous appearance on 6 February.

This included a copy of Viljoen’s driver’s licence and DNA results from the scene.
However, Mahlaba’s lawyers said they had not received the results of blood tests, nor an indication of the alcohol content of Viljoen’s blood.
Viljoen’s cellphone records from after the hit-and-run as well as a charge sheet had also not been given.
At this, the magistrate said that the merits of the case were not up for discussion and that this should be brought up at trial.
Viljoen was found dead next to the N14 freeway in Centurion in 2017, just two weeks before his 19th birthday.
