The Tshwane metro will be providing buses for residents who wish to attend the funeral of slain Matwetwe lead actor Sibusiso Khwinana on Saturday.
“Bus pick up points will be communicated by Thursday, 7 March 2019,” community and social development MMC Sakkie du Plooy said.
The 25-year-old Khwinana was stabbed to death in a robbery after watching the screening of the movie at the Sterland mall with a friend on Friday.

“It is sad that the life of a great soul in the creative arts has been cut short through such a violent crime,” Du Plooy said.
Du Plooy said the metro pledged to support the law enforcement agencies working towards arresting the perpetrators of the crime.
“Being a municipality that prides itself to be a caring city, a delegation from the community and social development services department was dispatched to visit the family and pay respects.”
Khwinana and his friend were apparently approached by three people when they exited the mall in Pretorius street.
“One of the suspects grabbed his phone whereafter Mr Khiwinana chased him and a fight ensued,” Sterland general manager Rentia van Rooyen said.
It was understood paramedics declared him dead on the scene.

“Our condolences go out to Mr Khwinana’s family,” Van Rooyen said.
Police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo confirmed the police were looking for one person but did not rule out the possibility of there being more people involved in executing the crime.
“People with information should come forward.”
Earlier this week, Gauteng sport, recreation, arts and culture MEC Faith Mazibuko said her department along with other roleplayers in the sector would look into how to “properly” remember Khwinana.
A memorial and funeral services for the actor will be held at the AFM Hilltop Restoration Centre in Block K, Soshanguve on Thursday and Saturday morning.
A murder and robbery investigation is underway.
