Police are still searching for the thieves who stole 65 laptops from a primary school in Olievenhoutbosch on Tuesday night.
Police confirmed on Friday morning that no arrests were made, but investigations were ongoing.
Department of Education spokesperson Steve Mabona asked for the community’s help in catching the culprits.
“We call upon the public to assist police with any information that might help,” he said.

The school, based in extension 15, had recently received 45 of the laptops as a donation.
School principal Garos Kabinde confirmed that 21 computer monitors and a central processing unit, which served as the laboratory’s server, were also stolen.
“While the theft was taking place our security guard, who is unarmed, was hiding in the bathroom after hearing a strange noise,” he told Rekord this week.
Kabinde said the school of 1 245 learners had just received 45 laptops as a donation from The Click Foundation in February.
