A man was gunned down during a house robbery in Soshanguve on Saturday.
Police spokesperson Captain Sarah Lesabane said the 30-year-old man and a friend were sitting in the yard in block T when a group of armed men ambushed them.
“The group of men demanded the victim hand over his car keys.
“They then fired several shots, searched the victim and also searched his vehicle.”

Lesabane said the men took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim as well as a firearm.
They then took off in a white Toyata Yaris whose registration was unknown.
“The man was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.”
Lesabane said police were investigating a case of murder and house robbery.
