The man believed to be behind a “reign of terror” in the Sinoville community will appear in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
This follows after last week’s court appearance was remanded for a formal bail application.
Some of the charges the man faced included hijacking, theft and malicious damage to property.
“There are two residential burglary charges, one attempted theft of motor vehicle, one malicious damage to property and one business robbery,” police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo said.
The suspect was arrested during police operations at the beginning of the month.
“The suspect was on the run after committing a series of criminal offences and terrorising the community of Sinoville,” he said.
At the time, Masondo said police believed they were making progress in locating and arresting repeat offenders and suspects responsible for serious and violent crimes in the province.
