NEWSFLASH: Four injured in Centurion crash
The crash happened on the corner of Lenchen Avenue south and Embankment Road.
Four people were injured when a taxi collided with a light motor vehicle in Centurion on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened on the corner of Lenchen Avenue South and Embankment Road.
Paramedics arrived on the scene at around 08:32 to find the taxi in the middle of the intersection, according to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
“The light motor vehicle was parked on the nearby embankment,” said Meiring.
“On further assessment, medics found that four people had sustained minor to moderate injuries.”
The injured were treated at the scene then transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage and local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
