Warm weather ahead this long weekend for Pretoria
Pretoria residents in for a treat with warm weather expected this long weekend.
Pretoria residents can expect pleasant warm weather this long weekend, despite reports of snow elsewhere in the country.
This after Facebook reports on light snow on the Cederberg peaks at the Driehoek Guest Farm was doing the rounds.
There is no cold forecast for the weekend, said South African Weather Service weather forecaster Vanethia Phakula.
In fact, maximum temperatures for the weekend will be 29 degrees Celsius and will only take a slight dip to 26 and 25 degrees by next week.
“The cold front which passed through the Western Cape does not seem to affect Gauteng,” Phakula said.
Minimum temperatures are all in the 10 degrees Celsius and higher range until next week.
