INFOGRAPHIC: Rand water restricts supply to city by 20%

Tshwane residents and business communities are urged to tighten up efforts of conserving water in order to ensure the control and provisioning of water supply to all residents.

The Rand Water recently restricted supply to some of the city’s meters by 20 percent after a critical drop in the utility’s reservoir levels.

“Tshwane residents and business communities are urged to tighten up efforts of conserving water in order to ensure the control and provisioning of water supply to all residents,” said metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said.

The city urged residents to make the water conservation measures that were implemented during the initial restrictions part of a normal lifestyle.
