Four people were arrested in the north of Pretoria during Tshwane police flying squad operations at the weekend.

Four people were arrested in the north of Pretoria during Tshwane police flying squad operations at the weekend.
“In the early hours of Friday, members of the flying squad arrested two males for the possession of a hijacked blue VW Golf and an unlicensed firearm and ammunition,” spokesperson Constable Bontle Rahatji said.
The two, aged 33 and 35, were arrested in Sinoville.
Two others were arrested during a stop-and-search on Burger Street in Pretoria North.
“The two suspects aged between 21 and 25, were arrested for drug possession,” Rahatji said.
The drugs were valued at an estimated R350.
Rahatji said the police officers also recovered an abandoned Nissan NP200 in Mabopane.

“The vehicle was reported stolen in September,” she said.
The arrested were expected to appear in the Pretoria North magistrate’s court soon.
